Introduction – Getting Ready

Welcome to the ICMA 2008 Annual Conference Blog – I am excited to be participating in this year’s blog and hope that I can provide everyone with a view of my experience and some talking points that you can add your perspective and thoughts to.

I invite you to add your comments to the blog and to say hello if you see me around at the conference.  I am very excited to other dedicated public managers in Richmond and to hear of your experiences and ideas.

With the first of September just hours away, I have a few things to wrap up here at home before heading out to Richmond including making sure all my plans are set up – I just got plane tickets late last week, not normal for me I like to be several weeks ahead of the game. 

Once again I hope you are looking forward to this great learning opportunity and I look forward to meeting some if not all of you in Richmond in a couple of weeks!
